  Was here in April 2016. The walk starts from a small parking on the road side of Haast Highway, well marked and well maintained path into the woods. It's only 25 minutes return, gorgeous and secluded walk into the ancient rainforest before reaching the waterfall lookout at river side. Roaring Billing Falls is a typical cascades waterfall, which drops into the crystal clear Haast River. Arrive early if possible, the parking can fit about 10-15 cars at most. No toilet facility on site.
